Having been a buyer and receiver of many baby gifts in the last 50 years, I think the most special gift is for Baby's first Christmas. Let's be honest, babies under the age of one don't have a Christmas wish list and can easily be overwhelmed or unimpressed, so choosing a suitable present is often more about appealing to the parents than the child. I have loved sourcing unique and special gifts for this year's Babyblooms Christmas Shop and these are my top five favourites:

Personalised First Christmas Baubles

This is a treasured piece which is proudly displayed on the tree year on year. Many customers choose to make this their signature gift and to gift one each year, building a collection that the child (and likely the parents) will treasure into adulthood as a record of Christmases past. I still have china that my daughter Lisa was bought for her First Christmas and we used it every year in the month of December. It was one of our family traditions and I still have it to remind me of those special times.
